It's winter now- Solstice has just passed; the days are getting longer
again...
The time passes so quickly it's hard to keep up. In the last half year- after
completing our 'construction phase II'- we've had stunning guests, without
exceptions!
Our tipis (tee-pees) were quite popular over season, but now nobody seems to
ask for them, even though they come with a fire pit and when you light a fire
they're not only cozy, but also warm, if not too warm! We've kind of
realized that bush tents work better for this place, since they are completely
closed units, unlike the tipis. Our little woodland is a bush, and in a bush
there are insects. And some of these insects found their way
in.
So the tipis will go to Lindsey's farm, where they will be available in a more
original setting: On a prairie field with horses. It'll all be part of the
tipi experience. We're a little bit sad about the tipis, because they're truly
great tents- there's just something about being in a tipi, which you no other
tents can beat... so before leaving this area, spend another night at the Black
Horses Farm!
