Pieter’s starting his first season of the firewave Surf School (1st surf school in Wilderness!).

if you want to have a lesson.
Besides being a naturally talented teacher, he has also taken a course at the Kahuna Surf Academy in CT to become a certified Surf Coach.

Unfortunately the Firewave Surf School didn't happen, due to various reasons. And in the menatime the g-root guys took over that territory. They're located 'downtown' Wilderness, they have boards for rent, bicycles and offer a whole lot of other adventure tours. Check them out, they're really good. But if you have a board, don't hesitate to ask Piet for a lesson.

Troubadours in the Karoo:

Soon the movie "Troubadours in the Karoo" will be shown – screening and baptism.

This project started Sat, 12th 2008.
After the KKNK festival: Pieter and Johan Nel got a beautiful set together
with Guitars, Harp and Songs.

At Amaza: Cati suggests they pursue a new type of Troubadour career- to go
and sing at Weddings or Birthday parties, un-plugged, close and personal,
like in the times in southern Europe, when the troubadours were sent to sing
for someone, courtly love.
Pieter dreams about it and comes to the conclusion, that there must be this
project:

Troubadours in the Karoo. On horseback, starting on this side of the
Outeniqua mountains, over the old Voortrekker Pad to the other side, from
farm to farm, 240km until 'Ronny's Sex Shop' on the Route 62 by the
Warmwaterberg in Barrydale, where they had had a concert a couple of years
ago.

Horses were sponsored by the Kossak Stunt Academy, a whole bunch of lovely
people and companies contributed to this very quickly organized project.
Now the DVD is almost finished, just the last touches and then you will
hopefully see it on TV.

There will be a Premier here at Amaza sooooon..
